What is crypto copy trading?
Crypto copy trading automatically reproduces a predefined portfolio’s trading actions on another exchange account. Orders can be mirrored through an exchange copy-trading product or placed by a bot through an API connection.
CryptoHamsters publishes separate portfolio pages so you can inspect current results and parameters first. A portfolio is not a guaranteed-return product: copied results can differ because of fees, slippage, latency, account size and exchange rules.
How to compare a portfolio before connecting
Open the full portfolio directory and compare more than the latest ROI. Use several periods and review these fields together:
How to connect a bot
- 1
Submit a Telegram Request
Open the Telegram community and message one of the administrators listed in the chat to request a bot connection.
- 2
Confirm the Terms and Portfolio
The administrator will explain the terms, answer your questions, and help you choose a suitable account from the portfolio directory.
- 3
Create API Keys
Create API keys with trading permissions only and without withdrawal access, then provide them through the agreed channel according to the instructions you received.
- 4
Bot Connection
We connect the selected portfolio to your exchange account, verify the settings, and launch the bot. It then trades automatically according to the chosen portfolio.
- 5
Telegram Notifications
If needed, we connect personal Telegram notifications about opened and closed positions and other bot status updates.
API permissions and account control
Use a separate API key created for the selected exchange account. Enable only the trading permissions required by the agreed setup and never enable withdrawals. Follow the administrator’s instructions for IP restrictions and exchange-specific settings.
Do not publish API keys or send them through website forms. You remain responsible for your exchange account, balance, open positions and the decision to stop or change the connection.
Profit-sharing terms
The administrator confirms the applicable terms before connection. There is no separate monthly subscription fee; settlement is based on profitable results under the agreed plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can the API key withdraw funds?
No. A CryptoHamsters bot connection must use trade-only permissions without withdrawal access.
Where are my funds held?
Funds remain in your own account at the selected exchange. CryptoHamsters does not take custody of the deposit.
Will my result exactly match the portfolio?
Not necessarily. Fees, slippage, latency, account size, minimum order sizes and manual changes can create differences.
How do I choose a portfolio?
Compare several time periods, maximum drawdown, Sharpe ratio, trading days, exchange, symbols, leverage and minimum copy amount.
